About Us
Our
Story
At Fellowship Community Methodist Church, our mission has always been to foster a sense of spiritual growth and community. Founded in 1916 upon a prominent crossroads in the local community, the church has continually served as a place for others to meet the Lord at the crossroads of their life. Usually a crossroads represents a change in direction, and during the church's long and storied history, many changes have certainly taken place. Initially the church grew from its first original services held in the home of a local farmer, to a growing community of believers meeting in a local schoolhouse. Through it all the Lord has blessed us and been our faithful guide. This was true even as the church rose to occupy the current building, and made the landmark decision to part ways with the United Methodist denomination. In spite of all the changes that have occurred over the years, our commitment to the Lord has remained the same. In Him the crossroads is not a place of division, but of reconciliation. Through Christ the Fellowship becomes a community.

Vision Statement
"Called to be a people of peace, pursuing Christ with pure hearts and serving our neighbors in His presence"

At the center of our calling is the peace of Christ. We are called to live with pure hearts before God, pursuing righteousness, faith, love, and peace in every aspect of life. This piece is not passive but active - shaping how we worship, how we treat one another, and how we serve our neighbors. Our mission is to embody Christ's presence in the world, offering peace, where there is division, love where there is need, and hope where there is despair. In this way, our church becomes a living witness of God's kingdom breaking into our community.
